Well, that was interesting.....

Very nearly a whole year has gone by without a single post! What was I doing?

Was I on tour with a kick ass rock 'n' roll band in a distant land, a place so obscenely far away the internet has yet to be invented? ummmmm no, sorry, I wasn't.

I was however working very hard to get NH off the ground, and I have! Now with a couple of venues, a PA company and an AV installation firm exploiting my talents I reckon I could be on to a winner...

Well, given the lack of any really interesting stories to share with you, I'm going to go.....

I will however say that coming up is the tech for an interestingly titled show Age of Arousal at the Woodend Barn, Banchory an install into Glen Tanar Ballroom and soon the great Shetland Folk Festival, much reporting will be done... I might even take photographs!

A Hew Horizon

So the time is upon us, New Horizon is born into existence....

NH is the name of my (Matt Maysey) Sound and Lighting company, I have just created it as a means of continuing my work in the field of live sound and lighting. With any luck, in the following, seemingly endless pages of digital tripe, I will be blogging about the day to day activities of life with New Horizon, where I go, what I see, gigs I do, people I meet, and the count-down to the eventual day of my world domination.
